OUR CHURCH
The Maranatha Christian Church was originally founded in Brazil in the year 1968 as the result of an event foretold in the book of Joel 2:28 that says: “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”.
Nowadays, the Maranatha Christian Church exists all across the globe with churches in every continent.
In Japan, the church began in the year 2000 and now counts with 5 churches located throughout the Kanto, Chubu and Kansai regions. We believe the best way to known Jesus is through studying the Bible, meeting together as a church and allowing the Holy Spirit to move through us.
We also believe that the gospel is free as it was given for free so you will never be asked to give money in our church. We want to praise God and announce the important message that the Lord Jesus is alive and that He will soon return!
